Welcome to Spell Slayer — my very first game! 🔮

Spell Slayer is a dark fantasy idle clicker game where you battle through waves of monsters using heroes, weapons and powerful magic spells. Click to fight, earn gold, upgrade your heroes and unleash devastating spells to slay everything in your path!

I am just one person who built this entire game from scratch as my very first project ever. Every monster, every spell effect, every piece of code was made by me. It has been an incredible journey learning game development and I am so proud to finally share it with the world. I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it! 😊

🎮 How to play:

• Left click on the monster to deal damage
• Left click on heroes on the right to buy and level them up
• Left click on the Blade or Magic Staff to buy and equip them
• When the Magic Staff is equipped left clicking the monster casts your selected spell
• Left click spell cards at the bottom right to select and upgrade spells
• Kill 10 monsters to advance to the next wave
• Every 10th wave is a Boss wave — much harder but much more gold!

⚔️ Weapons:

• Blade — equip for bonus click damage
• Magic Staff — equip to cast powerful spells instead of clicking

🔥 Spells:

• Fireball — sets the monster on fire, dealing burn damage over time and carrying over to the next monster
• Rock — a heavy instant hit
• Void — summons a black hole that deals damage for 10 seconds and follows the monster until it expires!

🦸 Heroes:

• Buy and level up 5 heroes — Archer, Mage, Knight, Dragon and God
• Heroes automatically deal DPS every second so you can idle too!

💀 Monsters:

• Waves 1-10 — Slimes
• Waves 11-20 — Spiders
• Waves 21-30 — Skeletons
• Waves 31+ — Dragons
• Every 10th wave — Boss!

⌨️ Keyboard shortcuts:

• S — Save your game
• ESC — Open settings
• F1 — Secret 👀 try to guess the password

• Volume controls
